Before you start
The portal never asks for payment, bank details or a bank PIN. Staff will never ask for your one-time code or your portal PIN. Read If you received a notice to check a notice is genuine.
You need the phone number or email address the client has on record for you. If it has changed, ask the case team to update it: your sign-in details then stop working and new ones are sent.
The portal works on a phone or a computer, in English, हिंदी or मराठी. Switch language with the buttons at the top of any page.
Sign in with your Access ID
Your Access ID (like AB-7K3M-9QX2) and an 8-digit PIN come in a message sent with the commencement notice. They are not in the first (S.21) notice.
- Go to abirnyayasetu.com/access. Type the Access ID; capitals, spaces and dashes do not matter.
- Either enter your PIN, or ask for a one-time code. The code goes by WhatsApp to your registered mobile, or by email to your registered address. The screen shows only the last digits of where it went.
- Enter the 6-digit code within 5 minutes.
After 5 wrong PINs or codes, sign-in for that Access ID is locked for 24 hours. The case team can send you new details sooner.
Or use the case link
A notice can also carry a personal case link. It works once and lasts 30 days.
- Open the link. A one-time code is sent to your registered mobile.
- Enter the code and the last 4 characters of your loan number, printed on the notice.
- If the link was used or has expired, ask for a new one on the same page (up to 3 times a day). It goes to your registered mobile.
5 failed tries lock the link; choose “I need help signing in” and the case team will call you.
Your case page
Once signed in you see:
- the case number, the last 4 characters of the loan number, the client’s name and the amount claimed;
- a tracker: notice received, arbitrator appointed, claim served and your reply, hearing, decision;
- your next deadline, such as the date your reply is due or the end of an objection window;
- the notices and documents in your case. Each time you open one it is recorded, and the page tells you so;
- your recent filings with their receipts, any settlement terms, and the client’s helpline.
For your safety you are signed out after 15 minutes without activity, and after 2 hours in all. Choose “Sign out” on a shared device.
Reply, object or ask for something
You can file once the commencement notice has been sent. Changing your contact details and stopping WhatsApp messages are open at any time. Nothing can be filed after the case is closed or decided.
| What you can file | What happens |
|---|---|
| Acknowledge | Confirm you received the notice. |
| Written statement | Your reply to the claim, with documents. You can save a draft and come back. |
| I agree with the claim | One video call with the arbitrator confirms it, then the award follows. |
| I’ll explain on a video call | Ask to put your side to the arbitrator in a hearing. |
| Object to a notice | Object to a notice sent in the administrator’s name, such as the commencement notice. |
| Object to the arbitrator | Only while the objection window is open after the appointment. |
| Ask for more time, to move a hearing, or for an oral hearing | Say how many days or why. The arbitrator decides. |
| Not my loan | Say you never took the loan, or that the details are wrong. The case is put on hold while it is checked. |
| Already paid | Upload proof of payment. The case is put on hold while the client checks it. |
| Appoint a representative | Let a lawyer or another person act for you, with a signed authority letter. |
| Interim relief application | Ask the arbitrator for a temporary order. |
| Settlement | Accept the client’s terms, or propose an amount and conditions. |
| Change contact details | Staff check the request before anything changes. |
| Stop WhatsApp messages | Legal notices will still reach you by email or post. |
Uploading documents
- PDF, JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB each. Files are checked by their content, not only their name.
- A photo of a paper document is fine if every word can be read.
Codes and receipts
A written statement, agreeing to the claim, accepting a settlement and “Already paid” ask for a fresh one-time code before they are sent. This proves it was you.
Every filing gets a receipt on screen and as a PDF. The receipt carries a fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) of what you sent and of each file, so anyone can later check that the record was not changed.
If you need help
- Call-back: on the help page, ask for a call in the morning (9–12), afternoon (12–4) or evening (4–7).
- Filing by phone: if you cannot use the portal, a case manager can enter your filing during a call. They first check the last 4 characters of your loan number, and the receipt says it was entered on your behalf.
- Stop WhatsApp: reply STOP to a WhatsApp message (English, Hindi and Marathi words work), or use the option on your details page.
- Hearings: see Video hearings.
- Anything else: support@abirnyayasetu.com.
