Grievance Officer
Write to the Grievance Officer of the platform for any complaint about how the platform works or how your personal data is handled. This office is kept under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them, including the Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code Rules, 2021.
Role: Grievance Officer

What to include
- Your name, and your case number or loan number (the last four characters are enough).
- The mobile number or email the notice reached.
- What went wrong, and what you want us to do.
- Do not send passwords, one-time codes or full identity numbers.
How fast we respond
- We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours.
- We aim to resolve it within 15 days. If we cannot, we will say why and when you can expect an answer.
- A request about your personal data under the DPDP Act, 2023 gets a response within the time the Act and its Rules set; our default is 30 days at most.
Matters before an arbitrator are decided by the arbitrator, not through this page.
If you are not satisfied
Use this grievance process first. If we do not resolve your complaint about your personal data, or do not respond in time, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act, 2023. The Board's complaint procedure is set by the Government and the Board, and we will tell you how to reach it if you ask.
You may also take your own legal advice at any time.
Data rights requests
Email privacy@abirnyayasetu.com (or the grievance address above) and say which you want:
- Access. A copy of your personal data and a summary of how it is processed.
- Correction. Fix or complete data that is wrong. A respondent can also tell us a detail is wrong through the case link, under "My details".
- Erasure. Deletion of data we no longer need. We cannot delete data that must be kept for a case that is open, under a legal hold, or required by law, and we will say so.
- Grievance. A complaint about our handling of your data.
- Nomination. Name another person who can exercise your rights for you if you die or become unable to act. Tell us who, with their name and a way to reach them, and we will record it against your data.
We may need to confirm it is you before we act. We do this by replying to the contact details we already hold or by asking you to use your case link. Requests are logged with a due date.
Stop WhatsApp or SMS messages
Reply STOP to a WhatsApp message from us. That turns off WhatsApp messages to your number, and any WhatsApp delivery still waiting is cancelled.
You can also ask through the case link, with the request "Stop WhatsApp messages", or write to privacy@abirnyayasetu.com with your case or loan number and the channel you want turned off (WhatsApp or SMS).
An opt-out applies to that channel. Because a notice must be served for the arbitration to be valid, a notice about your case may still reach you by another channel, such as email or post, and you can still open it through your case link.
Report a suspicious message
If you got a message that asks for money, or you doubt that a notice is real, do not pay and do not click. Email grievance@abirnyayasetu.com with a screenshot or the text. The respondents page explains how to check a notice.
