Disclaimer

We administer arbitrations. We are not a law firm, we do not give legal advice, and nothing here is an advertisement.

Who we are

Nyaya Setu, ABIR Institute for Arbitration LLP (LLPIN ADC-7008), Registered office: Flat 402, Suryavandan Apt, Rokdoba Mandir, Shivajinagar, Haveli, Pune 411005, Maharashtra, India

ABIR Institute for Arbitration LLP is an arbitration institution. It administers arbitrations: it sends notices, tracks their delivery, keeps the case record and hosts hearings. Independent arbitrators decide every case.

The institute is not a law firm. It does not act as a lawyer for anyone.

Not an advertisement or solicitation

The rules of the Bar Council of India do not allow advocates to advertise or to ask for legal work, directly or indirectly. In keeping with those rules:

  • Nothing on this website is an advertisement, an invitation or a solicitation of legal work of any kind.
  • The information about the institute, its partners and its panel is given only so that people can know who we are. It is not an offer of legal services.
  • We do not rank or describe anyone as "top", "best" or similar.

By reading this website you confirm that you are looking for information on your own, and that no one from the institute asked you to.

Not legal advice

The pages, guides and messages on this website give general information about how the platform and the arbitration process work. They are not legal advice about your situation.

  • Reading this website, signing in, or writing to us does not create a lawyer and client relationship with the institute or with anyone on its panel.
  • Our staff can explain how to use the platform and where a step stands. They cannot tell you what to do in your case, what to file or whether to settle.
  • You may take advice from your own lawyer at any time, at any stage of a case. We recommend you do before you make an important decision.

The institute is neutral

  • The institute does not represent the Client or any respondent. It runs the same process for every party.
  • Some notices, such as the notice requesting arbitration under section 21 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, are the Client's own notices. They are made on the Client's letterhead and sent in the Client's name through the platform. They state the Client's claim, not the institute's view.
  • A named person at the institute chooses each arbitrator by hand and records the legal basis and the reasons. No software chooses or ranks arbitrators. The arbitrator gives a written disclosure under section 12 of the Act, and a party may object.
  • The arbitrator decides independently. No one at the institute can change the text of an order or an award.

No promise of any outcome

We do not promise or predict the result of any case, how long it will take, or what an arbitrator will decide. Nothing on this website should be read as saying that a claim will succeed or fail.

Examples, sample screens and descriptions on this website show how the platform works. They are not a guide to how any case will end.

We never ask you for money

The platform does not take payments. The institute does not collect loan dues or any other money from respondents, on the platform, in a notice, or by phone or message.

If anyone asks you to pay money to the institute, or claims to act for it and asks for money, do not pay. Write to support@abirnyayasetu.com with the message or a screenshot. The For respondents page explains how to check that a notice is genuine.

Accuracy of the information

  • We try to keep this website accurate and up to date, but it is general information. The law, the platform and our processes can change.
  • The page you are reading may not show the latest change in the law. Each page shows the date it was last updated.
  • In a case, what counts is the arbitration agreement, the notices you receive, the arbitrator's directions and the law, not a general page on this website.
  • If you find a mistake on this website, please tell us at support@abirnyayasetu.com.
